L&D Traveler RN – Family Birth Place Team
Position Overview
Join the Family Birth Place Team as an L&D Traveler RN in a supportive, evidence-based care environment. You'll provide comprehensive labor and delivery care, including OR support, PACU recovery, and postpartum couplet care. The facility is expanding its obstetric services and preparing for increased volume — currently managing approximately 60 deliveries monthly, scaling to 80+ in the coming months.
Clinical Scope
- Labor and delivery management for patients carrying babies 32 weeks and beyond
- Charge nurse responsibilities required
- Collaboration with a compassionate, clinically excellent nursing team
- Fast-paced environment with growing patient volume
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends
- Call Rotation: Typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks (subject to change)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 6, 2026
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license (or compact privilege)
- RN Charge experience required
- AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
- Flu vaccine (required by 10/2026)
- Team player with strong clinical judgment
- Limited RTO preferred

- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
- Colorado CAPS registration required (allow up to 2 weeks for processing)
