Radiology Technologist – Evening Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Radiology department is seeking experienced Radiology Technologists for an 8-hour evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). This is a 13-week contract position with 40 guaranteed hours per week.
About the Role
You'll support a busy radiology operation serving ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient populations. The department schedules one patient per hour, allowing time to accommodate inpatient and ER imaging needs. You'll work alongside a supportive management team including a Radiology Coordinator, Manager, and Supervisor. A radiologist is on-site or on-call as needed.
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- ARRT Certification (Radiologic Technologist)
- California State Radiologic Technologist Certification
- Fluoroscopy permit (required for OR and routine work)
Preferred Qualifications
- CT certification (ARRT-CT)
- Mammography certification
- OR experience
- Venipuncture experience
Orientation & Schedule
Orientation length varies by experience and specialty (typically 1–2 days for experienced techs). You may be scheduled for weekend call depending on CT proficiency and radiologist approval. The facility provides scrubs.

Candidates with strong clinical skills, OR experience, and multi-modality certifications are highly valued. If you hold advanced certifications in CT or mammography, this is a great fit.
The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
