Travel Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry | Nights | Bettendorf, IA

Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3×12
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• Schedule: Every other weekend

Position Overview

As part of an interdisciplinary care team, you'll apply your clinical expertise to manage and deliver care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients. Float opportunities within the same discipline across local campuses may be required.

Clinical Expectations

• Comfortable managing vasoactive and cardiac drips, including heparin, cardizem, nitroglycerin, non-DKA insulin, and amiodarone
• High-acuity telemetry monitoring and patient management
• Expected to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day

Requirements

• Active Illinois state license required
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Prior travel contract preferred; new graduates considered
• Must not have been employed at the facility within the last 12 months
• Taxable home address must be 50+ miles from the facility
• Required at submission: work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, driver's license, and one supervisory reference

Compensation Add-ons

• OT: 1.15× multiplier for approved overtime and holidays
• Callback: 1.5× with a 2-hour minimum
• On-call rate and charge/preceptor premiums available
