Travel Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry | Nights | Bettendorf, IA

This 13-week travel assignment places you on a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry unit working night shifts in Bettendorf, IA. The unit manages a diverse cardiac and medical-surgical patient population requiring close monitoring and skilled nursing intervention.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3×12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Must work 2 of 3 designated holidays

Clinical Scope

• Cardiac-focused patient population with telemetry monitoring
• Proficiency with vasoactive and cardiac drips required: heparin, cardizem, nitroglycerin, non-DKA insulin, and amiodarone
• Float potential within the same discipline across local campuses

Requirements

• Active RN license (Illinois required)
• BLS (AHA) — required
• NIHSS — required
• ACLS (AHA) — preferred
• Cardiac experience — required
• At least one prior travel contract preferred; new graduates considered
• Must not have worked at the facility within the last 12 months
• Taxable address must be 50+ miles from the facility
