This Emergency Department position focuses on managing boarder assignments — specifically Med/Surg and PCU admit holds — within a busy ED setting. Nurses in this role must be comfortable operating at the intersection of emergency and inpatient care, with a strong foundation in step-down level nursing.

Shift Details

• Weekdays: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36-hour weekly guarantee

Contract

• 13 weeks | Laconia, NH

Clinical Requirements

• 2–3 years of ED/ER experience required; candidates closer to 2 years must demonstrate strong independent clinical judgment and experience across a variety of patient presentations
• Cardiac drip experience is essential
• Strong Med/Surg and PCU background required
• Floating required: Step-Down, Med/Surg, and potentially a Behavioral Health Annex (orientation provided)

Certifications & Licensure

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS required
