Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for night shift staffing. You'll provide direct patient care on a med/surg telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac and post-surgical conditions while managing a standard patient assignment.

Shift & Duration

• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Contract: 18 weeks
• Location: Mayfield Heights, OH
• Start Date: October 5, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current, active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Professional reference from a manager, ANM, or supervisor (required; co-worker references not accepted)

What You'll Need to Know

• Pre-start orientation includes online modules (6–15 hours average) and competency assessments
• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments required during orientation; maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• Background check and drug screening required
• BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Facility policy: nicotine-free requirement with annual drug screen (includes nicotine testing)
• Extension options available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter
