Emergency Department RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shifts. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-Hour nights (19:00–07:00) OR 4x12-Hour nights (19:00–07:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Option: 2 on-call shifts per month (24-hour shifts) OR 2 additional scheduled shifts per month
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current South Carolina RN license (required at time of submission; no pending licenses)
• Minimum 3 years of emergency nursing experience (first-time travelers considered)
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Two supervisory references required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)

Expectations

• Float within the facility and nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Expect to work some holidays
• Minimize time-off requests; none permitted during the first two weeks or as full calendar weeks off
• All PTO must be approved and documented prior to your start date

Notes

• Locals within a 50-mile radius accepted at local rates
• Overtime paid after 48 hours for 4x12 schedules
• Pre-assignment online modules required (approximately 2 hours)
