Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Burlington, MA
This 13-week contract places you in a busy Emergency Department managing a diverse patient population ranging from acute injuries to high-acuity medical emergencies. The unit operates across fast-track, behavioral health, private treatment, and standard acute care areas, offering a clinically rich environment for experienced ED nurses.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 2 holiday shifts required
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (excludes on-call time)
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Prior experience in a high-acuity trauma environment required
- BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- TNCC required
- PALS or ENPC required
Clinical Scope
The ED cares for patients presenting with traumatic injuries, medical emergencies, behavioral health crises, and time-sensitive conditions requiring rapid assessment and intervention. Nurses work across multiple care areas including fast-track and dedicated behavioral health spaces.

- Candidates must have been separated from the affiliated health system for a minimum of 6 months (permanent, per diem, or contract) to be eligible
