Med/Surg Telemetry — Travel RN | Needham, MA
This 8-week contract places you in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit on a rotating day/night schedule. The unit requires flexibility across both shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation every other occurrence.
Schedule & Contract Details
- 3 × 12-hour rotating shifts (Days: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / Nights: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- Maximum 3 days of approved time off during the contract
- No float required
- Anticipated start: December 7, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- BLS (American Heart Association) — required
- ACLS — required
Clinical Scope
The unit manages telemetry-monitored patients across a range of medical and surgical diagnoses, requiring strong cardiac rhythm interpretation, patient assessment, and post-procedural care skills. Candidates should be comfortable managing moderate-to-high acuity patients in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
