Shift & Schedule
8-hour days, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
13-week contract with 72 hours guaranteed biweekly (excludes on-call)
About the Role
The facility seeks an experienced RN Educator to design and deliver educational programs across the acute care setting. You'll assess staff learning needs, develop and coordinate orientation and professional development offerings, and mentor nursing staff. This role combines education, consultation, mentoring, and leadership within the Nursing Division's framework.
Ideal Background
- Master's degree: MABSN (required); MSN in Education or CNS preferred
- BLS and ACLS instructor certification required at hire
- 3–5 years clinical experience; critical care background strongly preferred
- Experience in PACU, endoscopy, central processing, and OR is ideal
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and demonstrated leadership skills
Key Requirements
- Must have been separated from the facility for 6+ months prior to application
- Pre-acceptance testing: You must pass an ECG/Telemetry assessment and a Medications test (20 questions each, 85% passing score) administered via Zoom within 48 hours of confirmation. One attempt only; no remediation available. Candidates should study the provided guide in advance.
