Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to develop and deliver individualized treatment plans for residents. You'll work across swallowing, cognitive, and communication disorders—designing techniques to improve intelligibility, comprehension, and reduce aspiration risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement customized speech-language pathology treatment plans
- Lead and coordinate delivery of services in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Provide audiology services as needed
- Document progress and adjust care plans based on resident response
- Ensure all services align with facility policies and clinical best practices
Position Details
- Specialty: Speech-Language Pathology
- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Location: Giddings, TX
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
Requirements
- Texas SLP license (or compact privilege)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical SLP experience
- References not required at time of submission
