ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Exeter, NH

Contract: 8 weeks | Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Start: December 14

This position supports a community hospital ICU caring for a diverse adult patient population. The unit manages high-acuity cases including medical emergencies, post-surgical recovery, respiratory failure, and sepsis, with support from intensivists and hospitalists on staff. The facility is also certified as a Primary Stroke Center, so acute stroke patients may be managed in the ICU as needed. Clinicians should also be prepared to stabilize and manage pediatric patients in select critical situations pending transfer to higher-level pediatric care.

Schedule & Hours

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
• Every third weekend required
• Maximum of three days RTO for the contract duration; no holiday RTO will be approved

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Active ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association) certifications
• New Hampshire RN license

Additional Details

• Float within the ICU is not required
• No separation period required for candidates with prior BILH experience
