Med/Surg Telemetry Float — Travel Nurse | Winchester, MA

This float position is based in Winchester, MA, and offers experienced travel nurses the chance to work across med/surg telemetry units in a dynamic hospital environment.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry
• Shift: 3 × 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights); nights run 7a–7p
• Contract Duration: 4 weeks (with potential 28-week extended need)
• Start Date: February 1, 2027
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding any on-call hours worked)

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Valid RN license

Float & Scheduling Expectations

• This is a float position — candidates must be comfortable floating across units
• No more than 3 days of time-off requests will be approved for the duration of the contract
• No holiday time-off requests will be approved

Clinical Scope

You'll be supporting care for telemetry-monitored patients across a range of acuities, including cardiac monitoring, post-procedure observation, and general medical-surgical care. Strong assessment skills and comfort with fast-paced unit transitions are essential for success in this role.
