Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Position Overview
The facility's clinical laboratory is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Generalist to join the day shift team. This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Schedule & Shift Options
Day shift with flexibility to choose your schedule:
- Five 8-hour shifts
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Three 12-hour shifts
Requirements
- Current California CLS or MLS license
- TB clearance dated within the past 12 months
- Strong benchwork experience
- Proficiency with laboratory information systems
About the Role
You'll perform a full range of clinical laboratory testing as a generalist, supporting the facility's diagnostic and patient care operations. Work in a collaborative laboratory environment with access to modern equipment and organized systems.
Location & Housing
Position based in the Arcata, CA area. The facility is located within a 20–30-mile radius of Arcata, with housing options available in surrounding communities including Eureka, McKinleyville, Blue Lake, Westhaven, Samoa, and Fortuna.
