ICU / Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Milton, MA
8-Week Contract | 12-Hour Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
This critical care position supports a unit managing high-acuity patients requiring ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, post-STEMI care, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management. This unit does not use telemetry technicians — all RNs are expected to independently read and interpret rhythm strips.
Contract Details
- 8-week assignment beginning December 8
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (excludes on-call time)
- Every other weekend required
- Float required
- Maximum 3 days RTO accepted
Pre-Acceptance Testing — Required
Candidates must complete and pass two proctored tests (via Zoom) within 48 hours of confirmation — one attempt only, no re-sit or remediation:
- Dysrhythmia recognition (20 questions)
- Medications (20 questions)
- Passing score: 85%
A study guide with tips will be provided in advance. Please prepare thoroughly before testing.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant RN experience
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) required
- Strong clinical skills in: ventilator management, vasoactive/sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia management, post-STEMI care
- CCRN preferred
