ICU Night Shift – 8-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) assignment. This 8-week contract begins December 8, 2026, with guaranteed 72 hours biweekly.
Requirements
- MA nursing license (may apply at time of offer)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- 2–3 years related ICU or critical care experience
- CCRN preferred
- Current knowledge of ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-acuity patient care including post-STEMI monitoring and management
- Perform ECG interpretation and telemetry monitoring
- Manage medications and titrate vasoactive drugs and sedation as directed
- Float to PACU, step-down units, and ED as needed for patient holding
- Work every other weekend
Important Details
- Pass/fail ECG/telemetry and medications competency testing required at day-one orientation
- Float assignment required
- No separation period needed from previous positions
- Maximum one holiday request; no more than 3 days RTO during the contract
