Respiratory Therapist – Manchester, NH
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join a dynamic, hospital-wide respiratory care team. You'll work across multiple acute care settings including ICU, emergency department, medical-surgical units, and NICU, providing critical respiratory support to adult and neonatal patients.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM, four 12-hour days per week
- Contract Duration: 8 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
Clinical Scope
You'll manage a diverse patient population and perform procedures including:
- Mechanical ventilation (Draeger and Hamilton systems)
- High-flow oxygen therapy
- CPAP/BIPAP management
- Nebulizer treatments
- Chest physiotherapy
The team works collaboratively with unit secretaries and technicians to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care across multiple unit types.
Required Qualifications
- CRT or RRT certification through NBRC
- New Hampshire Respiratory License
- ACLS certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Strong multitasking ability and professional patient interaction skills
- Mechanical aptitude
What We're Looking For
Candidates with advanced mechanical skills and experience working across multiple unit types are preferred. You should be comfortable floating to different areas based on patient acuity and census needs.
