MRI Technologist – Day Shift
Shift & Schedule
- 4x10-hour days: 07:00–17:00 (start times 07:00 or 08:30)
- Call rotation: approximately every 4th–5th Sunday
- Weekend coverage: Saturdays 08:00–16:00 (typically staffed)
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: October 12, 2026
Clinical Role
You'll perform MRI imaging across neuro, musculoskeletal, abdomen, MR cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), and breast exams. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. No cardiac imaging. You'll prepare and administer contrast media, utilize PACS systems, and apply advanced imaging techniques including gradient echo, spin echo, T1/T2-weighted imaging, maximum intensity projection (MIP), and multiplanar reconstruction (MRP).
Requirements
- California Radiologic Technologist license (must be in hand at submission)
- ARRT in Radiology (ARRT-R required; ARRT-MRI preferred)
- BLS certification
- California IV certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
Important Notes
- You may be assigned to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted up-front during the application process
