Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Position

Position Overview

The facility is a STEMI and Stroke receiving center seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work in a 4-lab interventional suite supporting cardiac, electrophysiology, stroke intervention, and interventional radiology procedures.

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 4×10-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• On-Call: 10–14 shifts per 42-day cycle
• Weekdays: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekends/Holidays: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend Coverage: 3 weekends per 6-week schedule
• Start Date: October 12, 2026

Clinical Scope

You'll support a broad range of procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiology, TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, electrophysiology ablations, stroke thrombectomy, and interventional radiology. Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You'll float between specialties within the lab as clinical needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year acute care cath lab experience required
• First-time travelers welcome
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (RCIS accepted), Fluoro Permit, valid state license
• Compact license required at submission

Details

• Daily census: approximately 6 patients
• Navy scrubs provided
• All requested time off must be submitted at application
• Two professional references required covering last year of experience
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
