Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 3 days per week, every other weekend
- Contract Duration: 24 weeks
- Location: Newport, VT
About the Role
The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the night shift team. You'll provide respiratory care to patients across the hospital, including those in critical care settings. Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway support, and patient monitoring in collaboration with the nursing and physician teams.
Requirements
- Current Respiratory Therapist licensure (Vermont or multistate)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS recommended
- Ability to work nights and alternate weekends
What to Expect
You'll work in a smaller healthcare environment where you'll develop strong clinical relationships and have meaningful patient interactions. The facility values continuing education—you'll participate in quarterly departmental education sessions to stay current with best practices.
