Perioperative Charge Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Perioperative Charge Nurse for weekend coverage. This is a 12-hour day shift position starting at 6:30 AM, based on a 91-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Responsibilities
You will lead perioperative operations, manage charge nurse duties, and provide clinical oversight in the operating room environment. Depending on facility needs, you may float to Medical/Surgical or Critical Care units.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of current experience as a Perioperative charge nurse or relief charge nurse
- Current California Board of Registered Nursing licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Two or more years of critical care experience
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
Important Notes
- This role requires the ability to float as needed to support facility operations
- Weekend availability is essential for this assignment
