Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in the emergency department. This is a 12-hour night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with every other weekend required.
Schedule & Commitment
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips
- Provide care to emergency department patients
- May be required to float to other units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience
- At least 1 year of previous travel nursing experience
- Current MA nursing license
- ACLS, BLS (AHA), and TNCC certifications
- PALS or ENPC (equivalency acceptable)
- Minimum 6-month separation from previous assignment (permanent, per diem, or contract roles)
Additional Requirements
- Pass a telemetry competency assessment on day one (study materials provided)
- Flu vaccine required during onboarding
- Biweekly orientation
- Willing to relocate to Gloucester, MA
