PCU Position – ED Border Patient Care
About the Role
You'll work in the Progressive Care Unit, handling ED border patients within your specialty. When census allows, you may float between nearby facilities within your specialty scope. You'll know your assignment location before each shift begins.
Shift & Schedule
- AM shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 19, 2026
Key Requirements
- Must be willing to relocate (candidates within a 50-mile radius of the area are not eligible)
- All time-off requests must be submitted upfront
- Current PCU license and required certifications
What to Expect
This is a fast-paced environment where you'll manage a mix of acute care patients. Float assignments stay within your specialty and cover a 15-mile radius, with the primary need at one location. Shift assignments are confirmed before you arrive.
