Telemetry RN | Nights | Bowling Green, KY | 13-Week Contract

This Telemetry unit in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift assignment (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with a start date of September 29, 2026. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week.

Unit Overview

The Telemetry unit supports a moderate-to-high acuity cardiac and medical patient population, including cath recovery patients. Staff support includes PCTs on both day and night shifts, with unit clerks available on days.

Clinical Scope

• Chest tube insertions, management, and monitoring
• Bedside paracentesis and thoracentesis
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• Stroke protocol adherence

Scheduling

• Every other weekend required
• Agency staff float first; potential float to Ortho/Med-Surg

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Prior telemetry experience required
• Chest tube knowledge required; dysrhythmia training required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Dress code: Any scrubs except camouflage
