Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) / Alternate Level of Care Unit | Nights | Rochester, NY

This 16-week contract places you on an inpatient unit specializing in the Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care (ALC) patient populations. The unit manages older adult patients with complex medical needs requiring close monitoring and a multidisciplinary approach to discharge planning and transitional care.

Shift & Scheduling

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (with occasional 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM rotation)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday shift required during the contract
• Schedule flexibility required based on unit needs; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience, with at least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
• Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required

Credentials Required

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
