RN – Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) / Alternate Level of Care Unit | Rochester, NY

Med/Surg Tele | Nights | 16-Week Contract

This night-shift RN role is based on an Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care (ALC) unit, caring for geriatric and medically complex patients requiring acute med/surg and telemetry-level care. The unit focuses on age-sensitive, patient-centered care with an emphasis on functional preservation and safe care transitions.

Shift & Scheduling

• 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM / 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM rotation
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract
• Must be flexible to meet the facility's scheduling needs; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks | Start: December 2026
• 112 guaranteed contract weeks
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience
• Non-U.S. candidates must have at least 2 years of U.S. clinical work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience
• Charge nurse experience a plus (requested, not required)
