Night Shift RN – Med/Surg Tele

About the Role

Join the medical/surgical telemetry unit for a 16-week night shift contract. You'll work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with flexibility between 36 and 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage includes either one shift per week or two shifts every other weekend. At least one holiday shift is required during the contract.

Clinical Environment

This is a complex-care med/surg tele unit serving acute patients with a range of medical and surgical diagnoses. You'll provide direct patient care, monitor telemetry, and manage post-operative recovery. Charge nurse duties may be requested but are not required; training is provided if needed.

Requirements

• Active NY RN license and AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year recent acute med/surg or tele experience (2 years U.S. work experience required for international candidates)
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Flexibility to adapt to facility scheduling needs
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

What to Expect

Block booking requests may be made but cannot be guaranteed. You'll chart using the facility's standard electronic system. This role requires a collaborative approach and responsiveness to operational needs.
