Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry | Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) / Alternate Level of Care (ALC) Unit

Rochester, NY | 16-Week Contract | Night Shift

This travel RN opportunity is based on an Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care (ALC) unit in Rochester, NY. The unit focuses on geriatric and complex patients requiring skilled nursing care, discharge planning support, and ongoing medical management in an acute setting.

Shift Details

• Nights, 12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM / rotating 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract

Clinical Scope

• Acute medical-surgical and telemetry care
• Geriatric patient population with complex, multi-system needs
• Charge nurse experience requested but not required

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience
• 2 years of U.S. clinical experience required for internationally trained candidates

Preferred

• 2 years recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience

Additional Details

• Contract duration: 16 weeks (start date: December 8, 2026)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Flexible availability required; block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
