Med Surg Tele

RN – Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) / Alternate Level of Care Unit | Nights | Rochester, NY

This 16-week travel contract places you on an Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care (ALC) unit in Rochester, NY. The unit specializes in the care of older adult patients requiring acute medical and transitional-level support, with a focus on functional preservation, complex medical management, and discharge planning.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday shift required per contract
• Schedule flexibility required based on unit needs; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute Med/Surg or Telemetry experience
• 2 years of U.S. clinical experience required for internationally trained candidates
• Charge nurse experience preferred, though not required

Certifications & Licensure

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS
