RN – Medical/Telemetry – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for a 16-week night shift assignment in Medical/Telemetry Complex Care. You'll provide direct patient care on a unit managing acute medical and surgical patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and complex care protocols.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Flexibility: 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Weekends: One shift per week or two shifts every other weekend
• Holidays: Must work at least one holiday during the contract
• Location: Rochester, NY (candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg or telemetry (2 years U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. trained nurses)
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Flexibility to accommodate facility scheduling needs

Preferred

• 2+ years recent med/surg or telemetry experience
• Charge nurse experience or willingness to develop charge skills (training provided)

Contract Details

• 16 weeks
• 112 guaranteed hours
• Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
