Radiology Technologist — X-Ray | Des Moines, IA
Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: October 19, 2026
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM (4x10s) | 40 hours/week
Holiday rotation required | No weekends | No on-call
This position supports a full-scope radiology department across multiple campuses. You'll cover plain film imaging, portable exams, and operating room cases, with regular C-arm and O-arm fluoroscopy support in the surgical suite.
Clinical Requirements
- Minimum 24 months of recent X-Ray experience (hospital/medical center setting prioritized)
- Surgery fluoroscopy experience required
- Current or recent OR experience required
- Experience with fixed general radiography equipment, portable units, and C-arm fluoroscopy required
- O-arm experience highly preferred
- Experience with all age groups highly preferred; pediatric experience a plus
- Trauma experience required (Level II minimum; Level I preferred)
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT certification required
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- Active Iowa Radiology license required at submission (candidates actively pursuing licensure may be considered with attestation; typical turnaround 1–3 weeks)
Additional Details
- Scrub color: Charcoal gray (solid tops and bottoms)
- Float across campuses required
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

- Professional reference from a charge, supervisor, or manager within the past 24 months preferred
