Obstetrics Registered Nurse – Night Shift

About the Role

The facility is seeking an experienced OB RN for its obstetrics unit. You will provide holistic, individualized care across the full spectrum of obstetric patients using the nursing process, demonstrating strong clinical judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to quality patient outcomes.

Clinical Scope

You'll care for patients in all phases of the obstetric continuum:

• Antepartum and intrapartum patients
• Postpartum and nursery patients
• Post-operative gynecology patients

You will independently perform general and unit-specific clinical skills while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care under charge nurse supervision. You'll manage supplies and equipment, coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and uphold all Standards of Nursing Practice.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of acute care experience as an RN
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• COVID-19 vaccination (per state mandate)
• Successful completion of general and unit orientation
