Registered Respiratory Therapist – Emergency Department
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Emergency Department. This is a night shift, travel contract role offering 8 or 12-week assignments.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekends: As needed
- Float: May be required to other facility locations as staffing needs arise
Requirements
- Current Ohio RRT license (in hand at time of application)
- NBRC certification (active, in hand at time of application)
- BLS certification (active, in hand at time of application)
- Minimum 2 years RRT experience
- Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months (no peer references)
Facility Expectations
- Nicotine-free/smoke-free facility (non-negotiable)
- Negative 10-panel + nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start (updated annually)
- Background check; no license violations accepted
- BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- All time-off requests and scheduling needs must be communicated during submission and interview
