Emergency Department Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Emergency Department on a night shift schedule. You'll provide critical respiratory care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 days per week (12-hour shifts)
- Contract Duration: 8 or 12 weeks
- Weekend Coverage: As needed
- Float Requirements: May float to other facility locations as staffing needs arise
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as an RRT
- Active NBRC certification (in hand at time of submission)
- Active BLS certification (in hand at time of submission)
- Valid Ohio RRT license (in hand at time of submission)
- Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
Key Requirements
- Nicotine-free (facility is smoke-free; no exceptions)
- Negative 10-panel + nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start; updated annually
- BCI/FBI background clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- All scheduling requests and time-off requests must be communicated during submission and interview
- Complete work history, including any prior facility positions, must be included in your profile
