Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) – Night Shift RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit on a night shift schedule. This is a 13-week contract role, with a start date of November 20, 2026.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 3 shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Holiday coverage: You must work at least every other holiday.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in critical care nursing
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One professional reference from a manager, clinical nurse supervisor, or director required (from assignments in the past 12 months)

Onboarding & Compliance

• You'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation; passing scores are required (maximum 2 attempts).
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions reviewed).
• Background check and fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing.

Important Notes

• This assignment is available to local and travel candidates.
• Contract extension options available up to 18 months, followed by a mandatory 6-month break (may be deferred on a case-by-case basis).
