CT Technologist – 13-Week Contract

Location: Birmingham, AL

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday–Sunday (36 hours/week)

No call required. Some holidays required.

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role

The facility's radiology department is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the imaging team on the night shift. You'll perform diagnostic CT scans, prepare and administer contrast media, and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Your responsibilities include patient positioning and screening, equipment operation and maintenance, radiation safety compliance, documentation in imaging systems, and collaboration with radiologists and physicians to ensure diagnostic quality.

Requirements

• ARRT certification in CT (ARRT-CT) required
• Minimum 2 years inpatient hospital experience required
• Travel experience required
• State radiologic technology license (as applicable)
• BLS certification
• IV certification/venipuncture skills

This is a straightforward night-shift imaging role with predictable weekend scheduling and no on-call obligations. Ideal for an experienced CT tech seeking a structured contract assignment.
