Occupational Therapist – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in its acute care occupational therapy department. You'll work day shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) in a dynamic, fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population across multiple diagnosis groups.

About the Role

You'll manage a typical caseload of 8–10 patients per day, performing OT evaluations and treatments for acute care patients. The department handles approximately 250 active consultations daily, giving you exposure to varied clinical presentations and the opportunity to collaborate closely with an experienced interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of hospital-based occupational therapy experience
• Active Kansas licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work independently with high accountability
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in acute care practice

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma experience
• Comprehensive stroke experience
