Adult Psychiatric Nursing – Day Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its adult psychiatric unit on a day shift schedule. You'll provide direct patient care in a supportive inpatient environment, working with adults experiencing acute psychiatric conditions.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 5, 2026

Requirements

• Current RN license (active in Oklahoma)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• DHS fingerprinting clearance required
• No previous disciplinary action on record
• Ability to work in a therapeutic, team-based psychiatric care setting

Clinical Environment

You'll work directly with adult patients in an inpatient psychiatric setting, supporting their stabilization, treatment planning, and recovery. The role involves patient assessments, medication administration, therapeutic communication, and collaboration with psychiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.
