CT/X-Ray Technologist – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist to join the imaging department on a full-time contract. You'll work the mid shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage as needed.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 5 days per week
- Weekends: As needed
- Call: None
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Location: San Leandro, CA
Required Qualifications
- 4–5 years of CT/X-Ray experience
- Current ARRT (R) (CT), ARRT (R), CRT, Fluoro, and BLS certifications
- Valid California radiologic technologist license
- Strong expertise in endovascular and orthopedic imaging (all orthopedic specialties including spine, sports medicine, and joints)
Preferred Experience
- Trauma center background (Level II or teaching hospital experience)
- Advanced imaging protocols and 3D reconstruction techniques
Clinical Scope
You'll perform a range of imaging studies for adult and geriatric patients, including endovascular procedures, orthopedic imaging across multiple subspecialties, and trauma cases. Daily patient volume averages 10 visits. Procedures include abdomen imaging (with/without contrast), coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, multiplanar reconstruction, venipuncture, contrast administration, and radiation safety protocols. Experience with specialized procedures such as biopsies and drainage is valuable.
