Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position. You'll provide direct respiratory care to patients across various units, working as part of a collaborative clinical team.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 18:30 – 07:00 (Night shift)
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Duration: 12-week contract
- Flexibility: Weekends as needed; may float to other facility locations as required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
- Current NBRC certification (active, in hand at submission)
- Current BLS certification (active, in hand at submission)
- Active Ohio RRT license (required)
- Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
- Willingness to comply with all facility policies and onboarding requirements
Key Compliance Notes
- Nicotine-free requirement (no exceptions)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine testing required within 12 months of start; updated annually
- Background check conducted; facility does not accept license hits
- BCI/FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Extension Opportunity
Contracts may be extended up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows unless deferred by the facility.
