Travel Radiologic Technologist — Pediatric Interventional / Cath Lab
San Diego, CA | 4×10 Days (07:00–17:30) | 13-Week Contract
This pediatric-focused interventional radiology and cath lab position serves a full spectrum of young patients — neonates through adolescents — in a high-acuity, procedure-intensive environment. Pediatric interventional experience is preferred but not required.
Shift & Schedule
- Four 10-hour day shifts; start date ASAP
- Full weekend availability required (no set cadence, scheduled as needed)
- On-call: 1–2 shifts per week and 1–2 weekends per month
- Maximum 6 days RTO; block scheduling not available
Clinical Scope
Procedures include, but are not limited to: cardiac ablation, catheterization (diagnostic and interventional), pacemaker and AICD insertion, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, EP studies, PCI/PTCA, TAVR, embolization, TIPS, carotid angiography and stenting, IVC filter placement, nephrostomy, coil embolization, rotablation, venous access, hemodynamic monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and a broad range of vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
Required Licenses & Certifications
- California CRT License (must be in hand or have confirmed ETA before start)
- Fluoroscopy Permit (required before starting; may submit with documented ETA)
- ARRT – Radiography (R)
- ARRT Advanced Certification
- ACLS
- BLS (AHA)
Additional Details
- Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers welcome
- Scrub color: Blue
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
- Local candidates (within 50 miles) are not accepted
- Floating within the hospital may be required
