Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview

Join the nuclear medicine department for a 13-week travel contract performing diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures. You'll work in a busy imaging environment supporting patients across a range of clinical presentations.

Schedule & Location

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (5×8 hours)
• Call: Weekday call 3:30 PM – midnight; weekend call 7:00 AM – midnight (Saturday & Sunday)
• Location: Morgantown, WV
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 5, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine technology experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred: CNMT and ARRT N certification
• Valid WV or Compact nursing license; pending license accepted
• Permanent address within 100 miles of the facility (75–100 miles considered case-by-case)

Clinical Scope

You'll perform a broad range of nuclear medicine studies including 3-phase imaging, abdominal and bone scans, brain imaging, cardiac perfusion and MUGA studies, renal imaging, HIDA scans, ventilation/perfusion studies, PET scans, and pharmacological stress testing. Responsibilities include drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs, proper handling and storage of radioactive materials, and maintaining isolation precautions.
