Float Pool Nurse – Travel Assignment

Location: Birmingham, AL

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 hours/week)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Position Overview

The facility is seeking experienced float pool nurses to provide flexible staffing support across medical/surgical and specialty care units. You'll rotate between different clinical areas based on census and patient acuity, bringing continuity and expertise to diverse patient populations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in your specialty
• Demonstrated travel nursing experience
• Active RN license
• Current BLS and/or ACLS certification (American Heart Association)

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Select holidays as needed
• Contract must extend through the beginning of the calendar year
