Medical-Surgical Telemetry | LPN | Night Shift | Asheville, NC

This 13-week travel contract places you on a busy medical-surgical telemetry unit, caring for a general med-surg patient population with continuous telemetry monitoring. The unit runs a collaborative staffing model with charge RN support, RNs, PCTs, and unit secretary coverage.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend (or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
• Travelers float before permanent staff; float areas include other med-surg units and ED holding med-surg patients

Clinical Scope

• Telemetry monitoring on a med-surg unit
• Peripheral IV starts
• Wound care and dressing changes
• Standard medical-surgical skills and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Medical-surgical nursing experience — *required*
• Telemetry experience — *required*
• BLS certification — *required*
• Charge nurse experience — preferred
