Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/IR Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Augusta, GA. You'll deliver pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for cardiac patients in a busy interventional setting.
Shift & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- After-hours on-call availability (minimal callbacks)
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
Unit Details
The cath lab manages approximately 3 STEMIs per month across 2 labs and 5 patient bays. You'll work alongside 2 full-time RNs and 5 full-time RCIS technologists in a collaborative, high-acuity environment.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Previous cath lab or interventional radiology experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Advanced skills in cardiac patient care (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure)
- Royal blue scrubs
What You'll Experience
This is a high-volume cardiac lab handling acute coronary syndrome cases regularly. The on-call burden is manageable with infrequent callbacks, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while staying clinically engaged.
