Med-Surg RN — Night Shift | Augusta, Georgia

This 13-week travel contract places you on a general medical-surgical unit providing care to a diverse adult patient population across a range of acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00)
• 36 hours per week with rotating weekend coverage
• Estimated start date: July 27, 2026

Unit Overview

The unit is supported each shift by a clinical nurse coordinator, nursing staff, patient care technicians, and a unit coordinator. Common procedures include EKGs, glucose checks, and venipuncture. The team is known for strong managerial support and a collaborative culture.

Float Policy

Travel/contract staff are first to float to like units within the facility.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of med-surg RN experience
• Active Georgia RN license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• No advanced specialty certifications required
