Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

About the Role

The facility's cardiac catheterization lab is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support a high-volume interventional cardiology program. You'll assist physicians during diagnostic angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), stent placements, and device implantations. This is a dynamic clinical environment where precision, teamwork, and quick response are essential.

Your Responsibilities

  • Set up sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for all cath lab procedures
  • Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment during cases
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications per protocol
  • Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data; alert the team to any changes
  • Perform scrub, circulate, and monitoring roles as assigned
  • Manage radiation safety practices for patients and staff
  • Document procedures, supplies, and patient data accurately
  • Assist with post-procedure care, including sheath removal and site management

Requirements

  • Current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (R) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience required
  • Travel experience necessary
  • BLS and ACLS certifications current
  • State RT license (if applicable)

On-Call Commitment

8 days of on-call coverage per 4-week cycle, including 1 full weekend rotation.
