Emergency Room RN – Nights
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift coverage. You will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge in a fast-paced ED environment serving a critical access hospital.
Clinical Scope
You'll provide direct patient care utilizing evidence-based protocols and clinical pathways. The role requires proficiency in:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN)
Experience in critical access hospital settings is preferred.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: Three 12-hour shifts per week plus two call shifts
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Coverage: Kremmling, CO, with possible shifts in nearby Granby and Fraser
- Flexibility required: Holidays and on-call responsibilities expected
- All time-off requests must be discussed during the interview process
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week
Housing
Shared housing may be available within 30 miles, subject to capacity. Smoking and pets are not permitted; no families or partners.
