Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist to join the OR team on a 13-week contract.
Requirements
- Current Surgical Technologist license/certification
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Ability to float to General OR as needed
Schedule
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours)
- Average 70+ hours per four-week period (variable)
- Weekday shifts: 5 AM–11 AM and 11 PM–7 AM
- Weekend/holiday shifts: 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM
- One Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift each week (not necessarily consecutive)
- Mandatory holiday rotation, including surrounding weekends
- Scrubs: [Color to be confirmed]
Clinical Scope
You'll support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced OR environment, handling instrumentation, sponges, and supplies; anticipating surgeon needs; and maintaining the sterile field. Float assignments to General OR may occur based on facility needs.
