Labor and Delivery – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift, 3×12-hour position (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll provide specialized care to high-risk antepartum patients in a dynamic clinical environment.
Clinical Scope
You'll manage pregnant patients requiring closer monitoring and specialized treatment before labor and delivery, including:
- Hypertension and preeclampsia
- Preterm labor and risk of early delivery
- Vaginal bleeding or placental complications
- Multiple pregnancies
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months permanent Labor and Delivery experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Basic Fetal Monitoring certifications
- Permanent Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License
- One manager or clinical supervisor reference from an assignment within the past 12 months (required for qualification)
- All certifications active and in hand at time of submission

Additional Information
COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions honored). ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments will be completed during orientation. Background check and drug screening required. Orientation modules average 6–15 hours and will be scheduled pre-start.
