Interventional Radiology Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the vascular procedure team. You'll work in a high-volume interventional suite performing approximately 25 cases daily, supporting vascular, peripheral vascular, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 4×10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- Every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend on-call
- Holiday rotation required (1–2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
- 13-week contract
- Orientation dates: 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26
Clinical Scope
You will scrub, circulate, and monitor cases in a busy interventional setting. The on-call team covers emergencies across two facilities, with most Level I trauma calls originating from one location.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months vascular procedure experience (hospital or medical center setting)
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience
- Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience
- Current or prior Operating Room procedure support
- Peripheral vascular experience
- Active ARRT (R) certification
- Iowa Radiology license (highly preferred; will consider licensing candidates)
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT (CI or VI) certification
- Level I trauma experience
- RCIS/CCI certification
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Professional reference from supervisor/manager within 24 months
