Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation
Position Overview
Join the inpatient rehabilitation unit at the facility in Salinas, CA.Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8-hour days
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Some weekend coverage required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current California licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- BLS certification issued through American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience preferred; new graduates considered
- Ability to deliver hands-on treatment in an inpatient setting
What You'll Do
- Assess and treat patients across the rehabilitation unit
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document care in the electronic medical record
- Work collaboratively with nursing, therapy, and medical staff
- Participate in patient discharge planning and community reintegration
Orientation & Support
- Comprehensive hospital and unit orientation (Mondays)
- Buddy system for initial training period
- Independence once cleared by the unit manager

Professional scrubs in any color; no facility logos or outside facility names on scrubs.
